The regional archaeology

Since 2006, the Musée du Malgré-Tout has been exhibiting a panorama of the archaeology from the Southern Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse. The archeological remains runs from Neanderthal, 46 000 year ago to the end of the gallo-roman period. Every new significant discovery leads to update the room showcases.

The Museum has decided to completely renew its permanent exhibition! It will no longer be visible from 18 November 2019 for a few months. New discoveries and long-term loans from other museums will increase the number of visible objects. In addition, a more didactic and visual presentation is planned.
