Cedarc : The Center for Archaeological Studies and Documentation
Founded in 1984 and recognize as an asbl (non profit organization) in 1985, the Cedarc aims the study, showcasing and diffusion of the knowledge about the archaeological heritage. The Cedarc/Musée du Malgré-Tout especially focus on the study, showcasing and conservation of prehistoric and gallo-roman archaeological heritage from the Southern "Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse" (a region between the rivers Sambre and Meuse).
The goal is reached by the conservation and the showcasing of many archaeological objects found in the region. The publication of abundant research works, exhibitions catalogues, etc. via our publishing allows the showcasing of the regional archaeology.
